- Thanks for asking. I got my PhD at NYU in cultural/performance studies with my emphasis on feminist theory and gender analysis. That's the thread that I followed from academic research into coaching. I think I'm ready to begin the germ of a book about reinventing feminism... Oh, what was Sue Shellengarger like? I do admire her work.
