Survey Results: 82% penalized - 72% rewarded for Speaking Their Truth To Power. Women self-censor more and men rewarded more often.

The numbers surprised me a bit - that Speaking Truth to Power produced promotions and other rewards almost as much as being penalized. Clearly a hi-risk/hi-reward career advancement strategy! And CLEARLY there's an art to it! In survey comments there was a lot of bitterness and some very satisfied "I did the right thing and feel good about it"…
