The Glass Hammer Network

I finally took the time to read it, and, was surprised to find it useful and interesting (I posted a review here).

What about you?  Any fans?  If not, what business books have changed the course of your career, or at least your thinking?

I'm a fan of this book! I just read your review too. It made me aware of several subtle things women often do that make men (and other women) take them less seriously. A group of women from work got together and discussed this book -- agreeing on some things, disagreeing on others -- but it made us all talk about the issues behind those "subtle" things.
I think that any time we start talking about some of the 'taboo' topics like negotiation, perception, etc., it's a good thing - glad your office is doing it!

Hi Shayna,

I read that book and as you was impressed how interesting it was. I also read See Jane Lead (same author, Lois Frankel) also a great book.
In addition, I like reading books from John Maxwell. His books not only inspire you, but also help you build up on your leadership style.

Look forward to hear from our network.
