HISTORIC BEACON HILL CLUB

Enjoy a leisurely summer dinner at the historic Beacon Hill Club in Summit, New Jersey on August 19th. Hear our new president, Susan Ganz, speak about her exciting new plans for the year. Discuss your ideas for upcoming events of interest to you with New Jersey Committee Co-chairs, Cathleen Seneca and Emily Kaller. It’s a wonderful opportunity to make new acquaintances and renew old friendships in the relaxed setting of a private club.
The Beacon Hill Club sits atop a hill which served as Signal Station #10, one of a number of beacons constructed in New Jersey during the Revolutionary War to warn American Patriots of a British attack—hence the name, Beacon Hill. In 1910-1911, the Bassett family built an estate on this site. Following their deaths, the property was purchased in 1955 by the founders of the Beacon Hill Club. They preserved the property and its architectural features, such as the original Tiffany stained glass window with the Bassett coat of arms.
There will be time for greeting everyone over a glass of excellent red or white wine especially selected for this memorable evening. Choose from two quality dinner entrees—Chicken Picatta or Dijon Herb Crusted Salmon. Don’t let the summer slip by without joining us for a sparkling evening of good wine, dinner and networking in a historic setting of past architectural elegance.
